~Brett and the H&BP team |
| Unfortunately, we are all sold out of Thanksgiving turkeys and cannot take any more orders (though we will have more for Christmas). If you have ordered a turkey (i.e. if you have paid for one), the deliveries are as follows:
*this week for Richmond and Lynchburg
*next week for Charlottesville and Crozet
For C’ville/Crozet folks, you must pick up your turkey at the warehouse on one of these days:
Tuesday, Nov. 23 between 9am and 5pm, or
Wednesay, Nov. 24 between 9 am and 12pm
If you have a conflict, please email the office. |
| We still have 10-lb boxes of frozen blueberries available. You can order them here. If you ordered them last week, you can pick them up this week.We will also have frozen blueberries in the shares this week. Please bring a ziplock bag to store them in. |
A la carte eggs are back!
|
| The title says it all: you can now purchase eggs a la carte again. Keep that in mind as you plan for making quiches, mousses and meringues for friends and family next week. |
| This week’s winner is Elaine Thomas, who sent us photos from a pupmkin contest at Johnson Elementary School in Charlottesville: “These pumpkins were from Horse and Buggy. Each class was given a pumpkin to decorate for the school’s Fall Fest and the pumpkins were voted on with coins. These are all age/ grade levels. The kids had such a great time decorating their class pumpkin!” Congratulations, Elaine! To see all of the pumpkins from Johnson Elementary’s Fall Fest, check out our Facebook page. Keep sending us your pictures for $15 ALC credit every week. (We know you’ll have some fun ones after Thanksgiving.) |
